Growing up in Switzerland, where the military has a strong presence and many people around me went on to serve, questions of defence and security never felt distant. I became curious about what happens behind the scenes - the intelligence, technology and coordination required when the stakes are high.
That curiosity broadened into an interest in geopolitics European security and how Europe builds resilience and credible defence capacity, drawing me towards the intersection of defence, technology and capital.
Europe has no shortage of ambitious founders or breakthrough technologies, but getting those technologies into the hands of the institutions that need them is just as important. At Keen, I get to work at that intersection, learning from founders building technologies for European resilience and helping bridge the gap between innovation and real-world adoption.
