Finance Manager
Defence
I followed numbers from Lisbon to Amsterdam because I’ve always believed logic is a competitive advantage. Plus, years as a football defender taught me that a strong defence wins the game, on and off the pitch.

Finance was a natural fit: structure, strategy, and the ability to turn ambition into scalable impact. I love the precision of a clean model, but what drives me most is building something that lasts and holds up when the pressure is on - no red cards allowed.

Outside of work, you’ll find me on a football or padel court, at the cinema, traveling, or buried in books. That competitive streak from my playing days still sneaks into everything I do, even if now it’s more about perfecting a spreadsheet than perfecting a slide tackle.

Professional Bio

I started my career at EY in Lisbon before moving to EY Amsterdam, strengthening my foundation in audit and financial discipline across markets. Earlier, I had an internship at CGD, Portugal’s largest bank, and even worked as a sales assistant - an early lesson that numbers matter, but people matter more.

I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Management from ISEG and ISCTE in Lisbon, and I am an ACCA-certified accountant.

Today, I am Finance Manager at Keen, fully dedicated to the Defence fund. I focus on clarity, control, and accountability - someone the team can rely on, trust, and count on when it matters most, whether it’s defending a tight budget or intercepting a surprise curveball.
